Blockchain Engineer Salary in New York

Blockchain Engineer Job Description

A blockchain is an endlessly growing list of records that are linked and secured by cryptography. By design, a blockchain is resistant to modification of the internal data and the data contained inside of a block cannot be altered without a simultaneous modification of all subsequent blocks. This high security and resistance to revision makes blockchains suitable for high profile records such as medical records, identity management, transaction processing and voting records.

A Blockchain Engineer could potentially be asked to work closely with technology teams in understanding the business demand and then designing and building a solution that creates cross-asset concepts and frameworks. This is a growing field in the technology sector.
