Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is an engineering discipline that combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. As a senior site reliability engineer, you will lead a team of talented engineers, responsible for the development and implementation of processes necessary to improve application / system reliability along with operational support. Your team's role comprises of approximately equal focus on both software development and infrastructure operations disciplines. You will also develop software to automate operational processes along with coding for the shared engineering backlog deliverables to meet established service level objectives.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
* Proficiency in modern programming languages - Python, Java, Perl, Shell Scripting
* Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
* Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
* Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
* Experience in leading and mentoring high performing teams
* Advanced knowledge of performance and monitoring disciplines and tools - AppDynamics, Tivoli, etc.
* Strong experience in managing DevOps practices and toolsets - CI/CD, Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, etc.
