Role Summary:In this role, you will be responsible for wing-to-wing execution of business critical, cross functional projects to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and external customers. This role partners with across functions to define requirements, drive the initiative to ensure outcomes are delivered on time, and monitor overall results of programs in country. Makes sure project management practices are followed and improved as needed.
Essential Responsibilities:
The role also interfaces heavily with senior leadership team and needs solid organizational savviness and business and financial acumen.
In this role, you will:
Assume ownership of critical programs and drive timely resolution when necessary
Collaborate with cross-functional partners in defining business outcomes and translating them to functional or process requirements
Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources
Facilitate convergence of (possibly conflicting) requirements across cross-functional stakeholders
Work with global team to coordinate day-to-day execution as per outlined plan
Cooperate with and manage external vendors as required. Manage procurement and onboarding process
Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed. Drive simplification and improvement as necessary
Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required
Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project
Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting
Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations
Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collected
Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). A minimum 4 years of professional experience.
GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed

Must be willing to travel
Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA, Chicago, IL, or Boston, MA

PMP or related Project Management certifications

Participates in change initiatives by implementing new directions and providing appropriate information and feedback.

Resolves day-to-day issues related to strategy implementation. Escalates issues that impact the business and/or strategic initiatives.
