We are Azure Development Tools team in the Developer Division. Our charter is to get every developer to be deeply engaged with Azure, to use and love cloud developer tools and services. We build the tools that enable developers to unleash the power of Microsoft's cloud platforms, from the "lift-and-shift" scenarios to the hyper-scale PaaS applications & micro services, from the Azure extensions for VS Code to Microsoft Storage Explorer. Our tools help developers build, deploy, diagnose cloud applications as well as manage their storage services in Azure.

At least one year of experience of the following: Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#/C++, .NET or similar.

Experiences in Electron or Chromium, Knockout or React, Visual Studio Code will be beneficial to this position

At least 2+ years Software Development experience

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

The qualified candidate for this position will start on the Azure Storage Explorer feature crew. Azure Storage Explorer enables the users to easily manage Storage anywhere from Windows, macOS and Linux. As part of the Azure Tools team, you will work closely with our partner teams in Azure, especially in the areas of Azure Storage, Azure Functions, AppService, and Containers, as well as Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code to provide the next generation of tools to build and manage cloud applications.
