* Job: 21148-MKAI * Location: US-MA-Natick * Department: Product Development
Are you interested in developing tools for dynamic system identification? Are you interested in using measured data to identify nonlinear and chaotic dynamic systems?
If so we are looking for a versatile, enthusiastic engineer to join the Control & Identification team to help develop software tools that use kernel methods, regularization, and data embedding techniques to improve dynamic system model identification. You will need skills that cross traditional domain boundaries in areas such as dynamic system modelling, system identification, time series analysis, statistics, and machine learning.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement new functions and graphical user interfaces to help our customers identify dynamic models from data using deep learning, kernel methods, regularization, and data embedding techniques. * Contribute to all aspects of the product development process from writing functional specifications to designing software architecture and implementing software features. * Work with quality engineering, documentation, and usability teams to develop state-of-the-art software tools.
Minimum Qualifications
* A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree) is required.
Additional Qualifications
* Experience in an engineering field with a focus on system identification or time series analysis. * Experience with MATLAB and Simulink. * Experience with object-oriented design and programming. * Experience with development of numerical algorithms.
