Working under the direction of the Engineering Manager, will be responsible for developing new product features for Simulink's simulation engine; helping conceptualize, architect, and implement ground-breaking block-diagram modeling capabilities; enabling distributed simulations of embedded systems and real-time applications; using object oriented programming and algorithm development skills to develop new product features and innovative ideas through the full software development lifecycle; enhancing Simulink execution to support multi-domains simulations; and implementing new infrastructure with a focus on scalability, sustainability and performance.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics and two (2) years of experience in job offered or two (2) years of experience building mathematical models and designing algorithms for performance optimization within the wireless communication and signal processing domains.
OR
Ph.D. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics and no experience.
OR
Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics and six (6) years of experience in job offered or six (6) years of experience building mathematical models and designing algorithms for performance optimization within the wireless communication and signal processing domains.
Special Requirements:
* Demonstrated expertise writing MATLAB algorithms, including evaluating and testing simulation algorithms using MATLAB. * Demonstrated expertise evaluating algorithm performance using real-time wireless communication hardware. * Demonstrated expertise applying information theories to build mathematical models in software engineering. * Demonstrated expertise designing algorithms to reduce complexity of signal processing system workflows.
