Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Project Manager's primary responsibilities are to provide oversight for IT projects with projects, technical functions such as IT, EDW, Data Analytics or Finance, through the project lifecycle. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of multiple, simultaneous projects ensuring consistency with organizational strategies, commitment and goals.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead strategy and planning sessions as required developing project scope with stakeholders for approved projects
* Develop and manage full-scale project plans and communications that require cross functional coordination
* Communicate clear expectations with team members and other stakeholders, and continually manage those expectations through out the life of the project
* Provide steering committee status reports, which include budget, timeline, scope, issues and risk status
* Identify and resolve project issues and manage project dependencies to maintain the critical path
* Facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
* Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of projects according to agreed upon scope and budget
* Develop project charter including project scope, goals, milestones and deliverables
* Document and maintain documentation for project in corporate PM tools (Microsoft)
* Conduct project post mortems and create recommendations report in order to document the successes and challenges that were experienced over the life of the project

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

* This position will not have direct supervisory responsibilities. The individual will be responsible for influencing various levels in the organization to achieve project objectives.



MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

License / Registration / Certification

* PMP Certification a plus

* Bachelors Degree required

* 5 years of experience

* 5 years of experience in managing full life cycle technology projects required
* 3 years of experience managing IT projects working with multiple sources and multiple stakeholders
* 3 years Healthcare experience preferred
* Experience managing IT projects of large scale working with multiple sources and multiple stakeholders
* Experience using and administering project management solutions
* Experience managing vendor relationships

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Power Point, MS One Note, MS Project and D365)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues to varying audiences and levels
* Experience in Agile PM methodologies
