The Membership Experiences (MEE) organization in EPIC Shell is seeking a candidate who will provide program management support to strategic organization wide programs. The MEE team is a consumer facing organization responsible for helping customers manage their relationship with Microsoft; from Services and Subscriptions they own to managing their Family experiences.

This Technical Program Manager role requires existing technical knowledge with the ability to learn new technologies. Ideal candidates must have strong program management skills, analytical fluency, and the ability to work with global engineering teams. We are looking for a self-directed, motivated candidate who fosters innovation and thrives in an environment where change is constant and expected. Ideal candidates can lead, influence and realize business impact in a complex environment. The ideal candidates are technical program managers that have experience or knowledge of shipping real world services and applications.

* 4+ years of technical program management experience.
* Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
* Passion for data-driven decision making.
* Demonstrated program/product management skills.
* Experience with instrumentation, metrics, log analysis, and reporting.
* Familiarity with statistics.
* Experience with Kusto, Azure management, Excel, and/or various reporting solutions.
* Experience in designing and operating online services including defining and improving operational and business metrics within a collaborative environment.

* Manage reporting of costs, availability, latency, scalability and efficiency of services by engineering teams. Focus on operability of services including: cost trends, security, privacy, resiliency, business continuity, & disaster recovery.
* Create measures, tools, & reports on client and service performance.
* Drive service design and improvements.
* Participate in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning for resource optimization.
* Review and influence ongoing design, architecture, standards and methods for operating services and systems.
* Maintain an unwavering focus on Quality of Service.
* Execute with high accountability to schedule and quality.
* Problem resolution - Work with Engineering on the timely resolution of critical production systems issues using technical and problem solving expertise.
* Analyze system trending - Provide systems statistical trending and analysis expertise including trending in system costs, capacity and threshold testing.
* Evaluate systems and technology - Participate in new systems designs and technical strategies.
* Contribute to service monitoring requirements with feature design. Perform Monitoring gap analysis post implementation and create bugs to resolve gaps.
* Participate actively in code reviews, bug/issue triage with the feature teams, and support well informed decisions towards business and engineering goals.
* Closely collaborate with partner teams in engineering and Leadership.
* The position requires participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
