Job Description

The Interactive Media Group (IMG) at Microsoft Research, Redmond is interviewing highly qualified and motivated candidates for post doc positions in computer vision, machine learning, computer graphics, and related areas. Our group conducts influential research published in top-tier venues such as SIGGRAPH, CVPR, JASA, ICCV, ECCV.

We are looking for the experienced and motivated researchers to conduct leading research in these areas. Prospective candidates must have finished or be about to finish their PhD. Priority will be given to candidates with a strong publication record in top-tier conferences, who have demonstrated the ability to develop original research agendas, and who work well in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

We are located on Microsoft's campus in Redmond, near Seattle, Washington.

Required Qualifications:

o Must have finished or be about to finish their PhD with major in computer vision, machine learning, computer graphics, or related areas.

Preferred Qualifications:

o Demonstrated ability to develop original research agendas.

o Strong publication record in top-tier conferences.

o Active participation in scientific community either as program committee member, or conference or workshop organizers, etc.

o Strong communication skills.

o Ability to work in collaborative environment.

o REFERENCES. In addition to the qualifications mentioned above, you'll need to submit a minimum of three reference letters for this position.
