As Nextdoor's Business Intelligence Manager, you'll generate insights and own reporting to drive strategy and measure performance against KPIs across the business. You'll be responsible for building out a team of analysts, and will partner with stakeholders across the company to optimize efficiency and drive data-based decision making. The ideal candidate is both a leader and a self-starter.

Responsibilities:

* Partner with data science, sales operations, marketing, and engineering to develop a business intelligence strategy and enable data-driven decision making across the company
* Partner with key stakeholders to own KPI development and tracking across the organization
* Conduct in-depth analysis on Nextdoor data, analyzing community growth, marketing campaigns, and ad performance
* Build and manage a team of analysts to design and develop metrics, reports, and dashboards that drive key decisions and improve business performance
* Own reporting tools, pipelines, and dashboards to ensure consistent availability and accuracy of mission-critical data
* Set expectations and SLAs on data availability, and own communications around SLA performance to the business
* Help evaluate and test new BI tools, both from a technical and end-user perspective
* Drive self-service for our data platform by creating and documenting data structures and sets, SQL and data tools training, and dashboard development
* Develop and share key strategic insights through data analysis, visualization, and story-telling
* Care deeply about data quality and empowering employees to leverage data to help them succeed in their careers and help Nextdoor grow and succeed

Requirements:

* 5+ years working in data or analytics, 2+ years experience in people management
* Expert knowledge of SQL
* Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels on both technical and business issues
* Strong command of Tableau, Looker, or other data management software
* Experience building stable, scalable ETL pipelines
* Ability to understand, tackle, and solve problems from both technical and business perspectives
* Innate curiosity around finding meaningful insights that inform the way we think about and develop both our product and our business strategies
* Experience effectively presenting insights and summarizing complex data to diverse audiences through visualizations and other means
* Experience working with and delivering to stakeholders from multiple parts of the company
