The Role:

As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer for Amazon GO , We are looking for high caliber talents to bring in innovation and simplicity to the space. There are no textbook solutions to the problems we are solving and very few attempts have been made to solve at Amazon's scale, which necessitates deeply analytical thinking to solve problems. To succeed in this role, you will be comfortable diving deep and making data driven decisions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly analytical, and intensely detailed with a strong customer focus and perspective to drive strategy in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter that can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision. You must be a fast learner who can quickly absorb the nuances of Amazon's varied pricing programs and processes. You need to be analytical in your decision making, with a demonstrated ability to drive issues to completion.

Role Expectations:

* Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our business needs.
* Partner with operations/business teams/economist/ML teams to consult, develop and implement KPI's, automated reporting/process solutions and data infrastructure improvements to meet business needs.
* Apply your deep analytic and business intelligence skill to extract meaningful insight and learning from large and complicated data sets.
* Serve as liaison between the Business and technical teams to achieve the goal of providing actionable insights into current business performance, and ad hoc investigations into future improvements or innovations. This will require data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.
