PointState Capital invests across a range of asset classes including equities, currencies, commodities and fixed income. Strategies include long/short, relative value, global macro, event-driven, credit (including distressed) and special situations. Several of the investment manager’s funds focus specifically on Argentina and energy-related strategies. Securities management services include providing investment advisory, as well as certain accounting and administrative services, for the securities under management. PointState Capital LP is run by Zach Schreiber; Josh Samuelson and Kenan Turnacioglu. All three founding partners previously worked together at Duquesne Capital Management. Mr. Schreiber is the firm’s Chairman and Chief Investment Officer and manages investments across a variety of asset classes not limited to energy, power, and utilities. Mr. Samuelson is the firm’s President and oversees a variety of sectors and instruments, examples include Financials and Macro sectors. Dr. Turnacioglu is responsible for portfolio management of the firm’s healthcare investments.
