Who are we?

PESB is a UK based Fintech company and are low latency electronic trading experts. The founders each have over 20 years of experience in trading bonds, interest rate swaps, foreign exchange and financial derivatives.

We have built exceedingly fast Matching, Aggregation and Implication software engines that process and analyse huge data throughput in nano-second time-frames. Application of this software is commercially employed across the biggest financial exchanges and Inter-Dealer Brokers in the world.

What we're looking to do

We are looking to expand in all of these domains. One of our current projects is to deliver an entire exchange implementation from trader workstations/user interfaces, matching, risk, market data all the way through to clearing and settlements. We would look to focus a new starter on this project initially.

Who we are looking for

A successful candidate would fit an Agile work process and be comfortable within Jira and Confluence as project management tools. Rather a cliche, but being able to demonstrate good communication skills are critical. You would be expected and required to integrate well within small sprint teams.

Our interview process

Ideally, we are looking for the right candidate to start as soon as possible. To that end, the interview process would not be a protracted process as we can move quickly.

1) Initial telephone interview
2) A 2-3 hour session to meet the team and field some technical Q&A
3) A re-visit and final decision.

This does not mean that we are only looking for candidates who can start immediately - we are looking for long-term, permanent additions to our company - so we would certainly accommodate start dates for the right person.
