GoGo (YC S16) makes services that help older adults avoid retirement communities and age well in their own homes. We're operating profitably with millions in revenue and growing quickly every month.

GoGo's mission is to make aging less expensive, isolating and destructive to quality of life.
Our first product helped older adults use Lyft and Uber without a smartphone. The company was made for a single grandmother and has grown to reach hundreds of thousands of clients around the U.S. and Canada, mainly through word of mouth and many, many bingo clubs.
We're located at the 4th & King Caltrain station, so it's super easy to commute to us. The engineering team (including the open Director position) is 9 people. The HQ loft holds the heads of the engineering team, the cofounders and a small marketing team.
We haven't raised any institutional funds yet - so we control our own destiny. From a work/life perspective we're pretty good! We manage tasks on a weekly and biweekly sprint schedule, but there are rarely painfully critical timelines that require folks to work overtime or stay late. That being said we really value stability - GoGo is always on and every ride is an urgent (and in many cases) life changing request - so if something breaks, we do everything we can to fix it no matter what time it is.
