Ender is a property management software company that was founded in the fall of 2019 by Jonathan Lonsdale (CEO) and Jason Mirra (CTO). Jon helped start Sway Ventures and did over $1 billion in transactions throughout his merchant banking career, while Jason was the co-founder, CTO of Addepar (~$3 trillion on their platform) and co-founder, CTO of Dynasty (sold to Appfolio).
The complexity of managing institutional commercial real estate needs modern technology. Legacy software providers fail to address the distinctions between residential and commercial holdings. Owners and operators are forced to manage their portfolios with a muddled assortment of apps. Instead of plugging into legacy systems, Ender is rebuilding from the ground up. Accounting, leasing, task management, invoice approvals, reporting, and payments all in one place.
Ender raised $7 million in financing from multibillion dollar real estate groups and families such as LeFrak and Milstein in addition to various top VC funds that seed invested in Uber, Lyft, Wish, Hello Fresh, Zalando, Ring, Anduril, and others.
