What's Around?
Do you imagine a world where you did your best work from wherever you were happiest? We do, but the world isn’t there yet. It’s still harder for remote teams to feel connected and do their best work.
Our mission is to help every team build an incredibly collaborative culture. Our thesis: Collaboration is best face-to-face, and brilliant ideas and moments of belonging are usually serendipitous. That’s why we’re building Around, a virtual office that helps remote teams feel connected and share those moments. It’s a desktop app that shares presence and one-click video chat with your team.

About the team
We're founded by two technical Google & Dropbox alumni, Charley & Alexander. (We want you to be our third member.) We're funded by early investors in Slack, Notion and Superhuman.
We usually work remotely between Chicago and San Francisco. We care about cultivating meaningful relationships with those around us, and we're obsessed with creating useful, beautiful products. We also enjoy building fully-loaded salads together in real life or over video chat.
