Quality Assurance (QA) Manual Test Engineers are tasked with testing software solutions for defects. They assume the role of a potential end user to ensure that the application features work as planned. In addition, they are responsible for reporting test status, logging results and verifying test data.
Most QA Manual Test Engineers work within the tech and gaming industry. They may work alone or with a software team. Depending on their position in the company, QA Manual Test Engineers may be responsible for developing test cases and defining the priority of each defect. They also conduct regression testing during upgrades or whenever the code is altered to correct potential defects.
The capital of Ontario, Toronto is a major financial city and a popular tourist destination—drawing over 40 million visitors every year.
